1Introduction
Welcome to Have It Fresh ("the App", "we", "our", or "us"). The App is developed and operated by Digital Glories. This Privacy Policy describes how the App handles information when you use it on your mobile device.
2Information You Provide & Where It Is Stored
Stored locally on your device. When you use Have It Fresh, you may enter information about your grocery items — such as the item name, price, photos, purchase date, and expiry date. By default, all of this information is stored only on your device.
Optional cloud storage in your personal account. If you enable the Cloud Sync feature (available through a premium in-app purchase), your data is synchronized to your own personal cloud storage:
- On iOS devices: your Apple iCloud account.
- On Android devices: your Google Drive account.
Cloud Sync uses Apple's iCloud and Google's Drive APIs respectively. Your data is transmitted directly between your device and your personal cloud account. It does not pass through, and is never stored on, any servers operated by Digital Glories or Have It Fresh.
3Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect any of the following:
- Your name, email address, or phone number.
- Your physical location or GPS data.
- Your contacts or address book.
- Your grocery items, prices, photos, or expiry data.
- Your in-app usage habits or behavioral profile.
- Any other personally identifiable information.
4Permissions the App Requests
Camera Access. Have It Fresh requests camera access for two purposes: (a) scanning product barcodes, and (b) allowing you to capture photos of your grocery items. All camera data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to us.
Notifications. The App requests permission to send local notifications so it can alert you when an item is approaching its expiry date. Notifications are scheduled and delivered locally on your device.
Network Access. If you enable Cloud Sync, the App requires network access in order to communicate with your iCloud or Google Drive account. Network access is also used to process in-app purchases through Apple or Google.
5Barcode Scanning
When you scan a barcode, Have It Fresh first checks the items you have previously entered locally on your device. If a match is found, the App will offer to retrieve those details so you can quickly re-add the item — you only need to update the expiry date and any fields that have changed.
Barcode lookups are performed on your device against your own data. No barcode information is sent to Digital Glories.
6In-App Purchases
Have It Fresh offers optional in-app purchases that unlock premium features, including Cloud Sync. All in-app purchases are processed exclusively by Apple's App Store (on iOS) or the Google Play Store (on Android). We do not receive, see, or store your payment information, credit card numbers, or billing details.

7Third-Party Services
Have It Fresh interacts with the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Apple iCloud — only if you enable Cloud Sync on iOS.
- Google Drive — only if you enable Cloud Sync on Android.
- Apple In-App Purchase — for processing premium purchases on iOS.
- Google Play Billing — for processing premium purchases on Android.
8Data Security
Because your data is stored on your device and, optionally, in your personal cloud account, the security of your data depends on the security of your device, your Apple ID, and your Google account. We recommend that you:
- Use a strong device passcode, Face ID, or fingerprint authentication.
- Enable two-factor authentication on your Apple ID and Google account.
- Keep your device's operating system updated.
9Children's Privacy
Have It Fresh is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
10Your Rights
Because we do not store any of your personal data on our servers, there is no information on our side for you to access, modify, or delete. You retain full control of your data at all times:
- To delete all local data, simply delete the App from your device.
- To delete cloud-synced data, manage it directly through your iCloud or Google Drive settings.
11Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, in applicable laws, or in our practices. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will indicate when the policy was most recently revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
